Very small but clean and comfotable.
The staff could be a bit miserable.
Location, cheap price.
Very small room, extremely small shower/toilet room, beds uncomfortable only one pillow each and they were wafer thin, could have done with a good clean and a bit of tlc generally. Would recommend for location and price, but advise to take your own comfy pillows.
The hotel was extremely dirty. The cover of a stool in the room seemed to be completely white from sperm stains. It used to be blue. The stains reached far up into the curtains. It was extremely noisy. You could follow everything that happened in the next room. The bed was very squeaky. When checking out, the receptionist didn't say anything, nor did she make eye contact.
Very close to tube station
Staff were rude on arrival, triple room had a double bed so only 2 beds in a triple room. Lights stopped working when reported were told it would have to wait!
1. The size of the room was like a match box. Myself, wife and youngest son were full of blue marks of bumping against the steel beds. 2. The toilet seat was broken and lose. My wife's bum got hurt. 3. The mirror shelve had just a frame and no filler piece resulting in breaking my perfume. 4. The double bunk where my son was sleeping on was extremely noisy with the slightest movement and it was lose. 5. The cups were filthy 6. There was no shower mat in front of the shower. 7. There were only 2 hangers for 3 people
Did not realise this hotel was of so poor quality on the website it does not descibe it well room was like a box hole in wall glass in window broken bathroom was dirty blood stain on woodwork when we arrived still there when we left.Entrance and stairs was filthy.Breakfast was very poor also I would advise no one to stay at this hotel never slept if we didnt pay on arrival I would of asked for money back .
Clean sheets and hot water
Dirty bathroom and toilet. Mugs, tea bags and coffee in room but no kettle. If room at back of hotel it is noisy with generators from other premises on constantly. I closed my window and put on aircon but that sounded like a moped. Fittings (bedside table and laminate floor) chipped and low quality. Remote for TV not compatible, had to stand on bed to change channel/volume. Towels worn and thin. You should make sure you take own toiletries as only sachets of shampoo provided. Hallways tatty with worn carpets. Reception staff did not seem that bothered.
The hotel has been modernised to a very cheap standard. We have no tea/coffee facilities in the room, just one cup with no kettle, teabags etc. The shower had no hot water and only ran freezing cold. The breakfast was terrible, stale croissants, cheap white bread which was like rubber and muesli like sawdust, - everything was inedible. Everything in the hotel was of the cheapest standard and I would certainly not stay here again or recommend it to anyone else. We chose this hotel as we were going to a concert in Hyde Park and it seemed to be very convenient. However it was at the opposite end of the park, actually Kensington Gardens and was a very long walk to the venue.
There was nothing I liked about my stay apart from leaving.
A hotel I will never return to and the name 'Royal' is totally misleading. It is very expensive for a basic hotel with small rooms. For example no light socket above basin, could not use basin as too close to shelf above it, always having to open close bathroom door as room too small, airconditioning did not work, sockets did not work, no TV remote, uncomfortable bed, towels too small, and breakfast very basic. My overall view was the hotel was a complete rip off and I am surprised Booked.net even deals with this hotel.
"BestLocation" is just what I needed so I can not complain about that. (I know the area well, so it was very convenienet to stay in that area)
Room was too small, toilet was very smelly.
Well I think the street shops where close to hotel and location was not bad , otherwise wouldn't call it as a hotel. If you don't trust me come and see what is so called "hotel" in my country ?
Very small rooms and the hole building itself ?
The location of the hotel was a plus, with 2 tube stations on the same street. Not far from both Hyde Park and Notting Hill. Room had clean sheets. However, do not expect a huge room. Was small-only containing- the beds, but if you are the type of person who spends their whole day shopping, then the room is just a place to sleep.
Foreign staff are very unfriendly, and breakfast-if it can be called that- is the same each morning with cold toast and warm juice, but it is complimentary so one can't expect too much. We were on the top floor, so had to walk 4 flights of stairs each day, as their is no lift. Also, the door bangs the wall whenever someone comes in, so quite noisy. We were also able to hear the man across the hall from us sneeze. It's a budget hotel, do not pay a fortune to stay here.
Location is very good.
It was impossible to sleep: my room was close to the door leading to the stairs and it would make terrible noise each time somebody would pass. The hotel staff should put a stopper or something.
Location is really perfect for a short stay in London, close to Bayswater Underground station and Hyde Park.
Room was rather small (bed filled 3/4 of it) but absolutely clean.
it s a good hotel , very close to hyde park and other monuments but it has poor comfort...very small rooms, especially the triple room.
It has very small rooms and the smelt of the paint wall
